On March 7th, 2016 I was honored to present an introduction to Transformative Parenting® to a group of Psychoanalyst Trainees at the C.G. Jung Institute of New York, as part of a class in Personality Development. I hope you enjoy it!

I realize I have a lot to learn as a presenter, and video editor, but I vow to get better at it! I am open to any feedback you may have.

The question and answer period which came after this was unfortunately too long to include, but the trainees had very good questions and it was a pleasure engaging with them. As always, feel free to share this with everyone who might find it useful!

Errata: At one point, I discuss woundedness in childhood, and state that people who grow up without being wounded much in childhood might go on to run for president or become millionaires. While that is true, what I should have said is that they can grow up to be anything they want, but might not be particularly good therapists, since they might find it difficult to empathize with others who had been wounded. Many high-achieving people I have met were wounded psychologically as children, and their compulsion to achieve is actually derived from that wounding.

I should not have implied that achievement is evidence of wholeness.
